BACKGROUND
Who couldn’t use $1,000 toward post high school education? The Flasher Community Credit Union board and staff are honored to award this scholarship to one of our graduate members to assist them with their post-graduate plans. In years past, we have had essay contests and a variety of financial “quizzing”. This year we are proud to announce the second annual Last GRAD Standing scholarship contest! We have lots of surprises up our sleeves for our contestants on this fun-filled day! Membership at our credit union is the only requirement. If you are a 2022 graduate in our area and are not a member, but would like to participate, please contact Heidi at 701-597-3391 for more information on becoming a member of the Flasher Community Credit Union.
DETAILS
Where: On Main Street in front of the Flasher Community Credit Union. {You won’t be able to miss it!}
When: Saturday, May 7th
Time: Contest will begin at EXACTLY 10:00 am CST so be there early.
CONTEST RULES
The contest will begin at EXACTLY 10 am CT. Please arrive by 9:30. Late contestants will not be allowed.
At 10am CT, each contestant will place BOTH palms of their hands on a vehicle parked in front of the Flasher Credit Union on Main St, Flasher. We will have Flasher CU board members present to monitor each competitor. 🙂
The rule of elimination is simple: If a contestant removes one or both palms from the vehicle, they are eliminated.
The last GRAD standing with both palms touching the vehicle will with the $1,000 scholarship grand prize!
The runner up will receive a $250 scholarship prize.
There are many fun-filled “surprises” for our contestants and we are looking forward to a day we will all remember!
